The Young People are our Future Project Presentation
Home Retail Group, Avebury Blvd, CMK- Wed 23rd May - 18:00 - 19:00

Volunteers Required to make a lasting difference

I would like to invite you to a special presentation of the Young People are our Future project.

This fun, exciting and rewarding project sets out to teach young people,
how to increase their personal safety and learn some valuable key life skills to enhance their confidence, discipline, respect and many other important characteristics that will help them become the best they can be...

My vision is to positively affect the lives of 25,000 local children and in the process develop 120 local life skills coaches who will provide a sustainable delivery model year after year for thousands of young people.

The Life Skills For Children course is a non-physical course allowing children to experience scenarios, which they will naturally call on, and develop the relevant skills to increase their confidence and ability to communicate professionally aiding them when working in a team based environment and increasing their employability opportunities.

Once a child has experience this valuable education, they will gain access to a timetable of FREE workshops provided by local groups. A wide range of sporting activities, dance, music, drama, photography and many more activities will encourage young people to further develop these new skills and increase their confidence to levels that will inspire them to achieve great things.

Stage three of the project is to encourage young people to participate in a comprehensive employability training course run by professionals from some of Milton Keynes biggest companies. They will experience CV writing workshops, mock interviews and receive tips on the best ways for them to achieve their career goals.

The YPAOF project has attracted some fantastic support from local individuals and companies including Jury's Inn, VW, Home Retail Group, John Lewis, Women & Work.

The presentation on the 23rd May will be your opportunity to find out how your group / club can benefit from this exciting project.

This is a fantastic community project, which involves everyone so we want local clubs / groups to get involved as well, local companies to demonstrate their support and passionate individuals to step forward and be counted.

Together, we can Educate, Inspire and Motivate young people to become the best they can be..
